Fensterbau Frontale in Nuremberg proved the perfect venue for the Sikkens Wood Coatings team to showcase the very best of what the brand has to offer.

It was also a chance for partners to highlight the strength of their collaborations and to celebrate the collective expertise, creativity, and best practices within the industry.
Visitors to the stand were able to experience the beauty and durability of the brand’s solutions and attend a program of events and presentations that promoted new application practices and gave insights into colour trends – all of which demonstrated the brand’s commitment to its mission of ‘Applying Possibilities’.

The stand design incorporated windows and doors manufactured by Niveau, coated in on-trend colours and finishes. It also featured cladding and decking from European wood supplier, Dekker Hout. Thomas Evenirk from Dekker Hout – a longtime partner of Sikkens Wood Coatings – discussed the latest trends and spoke about how they are using Sikkens Wood Coatings to protect and extend the lifespan of their ready-made wood products. The Sikkens Wood Coatings team invited Nordbo Robotics to show how innovative automation can be used to bring uniform results to wood coating applications, as well as enhancing overall product quality and reducing waste. Experts from Nordbo presented each day of the fair and were on hand to answer questions from attendees about the new approach to coating applications. Read more 

Heleen van Gent, Head of the AkzoNobel Global Aesthetic Center which is responsible for AkzoNobel’s ColourFutures™, discussed AkzoNobel’s annual global research into colour and design trends, and the rationale behind AkzoNobel’s 2024 Colour of the Year – Sweet Embrace™. Read more
